Both engines use an eight-speed automatic transmission to shift through the gears. All models come standard with front-wheel-drive, but you can opt for all-wheel-drive.

There are five main trim levels for the Cherokee as well as several sub-trims that add appearance features like blacked-out badging and leather upholstery. The Latitude kicks things off with two USB ports, smartphone integration, a six-speaker sound system, and a 7-inch touchscreen. The Latitude Plus tacks on blind-spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, and satellite radio. Moving on to the Limited you'll find leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, and heated seats. The Overland adds heated rear seats, navigation, ventilated front seats, and sound-deadening windshield. The last main trim is the Trailhawk which is ready for the trail with off-road-oriented suspension, hill ascent and descent control, tow hooks, and all-terrain tires.

There are three trim levels for the Hyundai Santa Fe. The first trim level, which all other trim levels build off of is the SE. This model comes with smartphone integration and cloth upholstery. The SEL comes next and tacks on heated mirrors, leather upholstery, and push-button start. Last up is the Limited model with ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and an 8-inch touchscreen.
