The five-passenger crew-cab truck that is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator comes with a five-foot steel bed and four trim levels. Standard on every model of the Gladiator is the removable doors, roof, and fold down windshield we have come to know and love from the Jeep Wrangler. The base Sport model comes with a 5-inch display, rearview camera, an eight-speaker sound system, a Class II bumper hitch, anti-sway trailer control, 17-inch steel wheels, and all-season tires. The Sport S model adds heated power mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and power door and tailgate looks. Sitting near the top is the Overland model with a 7-inch infotainment system, side steps, 18-inch alloy wheels, and LED ambient footwell lighting. The top tier Rubicon model delivers even more off-road capability with 33-inch all-terrain tires, Fox shock absorbers, body-protecting rock rails, skid plates, locking front and rear differentials. Optional features include a spray-in bed liner, a premium sound system, a tonneau cover, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen.

The 2020 Gladiator will initially roll onto lots with a singular engine option, the second engine option is due to arrive at the start of the year. The standard engine for the 2020 Gladiator is a 3.6-liter V6 engine producing 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The engine will come standard with a six-speed manual transmission with the option for an eight-speed automatic transmission. The late availability engine is a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 that pumps out 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. The EcoDiesel engine will come exclusively with an eight-speed automatic transmission to handle the increased amount of torque. The Gladiator is capable of towing an impressive 7,650 pounds and can haul up to 1,600 pounds.

When Jeep engineers designed the all-new 2020 Gladiator, they made put safety and security first. An advanced high-strength steel chassis helps direct energy away from the cabin in the case of a collision.
