2020 RAM 1500 Big Horn vs 2020 Chevrolet Silverado LT

A big job calls for a big truck, and the RAM 1500 Big Horn Quad Cab and the Chevrolet Silverado LT Double Cab are certainly big enough to get the job done. Both of the pickups have massive engines and high payload capacities that are good for any situation. Though there are certainly merits to both vehicles, only one can be crowned king of the pickups. Continue reading as we break both of these trucks down and declare a winner.

There is a fantastic lineup of engine options for the RAM 1500 Big Horn. Standard on all Ram 1500s is the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine with eTorque. It uses advanced technologies to V6 efficiency and Best-in-Class standard V6 horsepower. The first optional engine is a 5.7-liter V8 that pumps out 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. The V8 is available with or without an eTorque system that bumps the towing capacity up to a whopping 12,750 pounds! All-new this year is a turbocharged 3.0-liter four-cylinder EcoDiesel that puts out 260 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. All engines come with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

There is no shortage of features and options when it comes to the RAM 1500 Big Horn. For starters, it comes with sharp-looking chrome accents that go on the exterior of the vehicle. There is also an abundance of creature comforts such as premium cloth seating and a Uconnect system with a best-in-class 12-inch touchscreen. More cabin features include different color combinations and a power driver's seat. Optional is a Sport package that provides body-colored front and rear bumpers, cloth and vinyl bucket seats, 20-inch chrome, and painted wheels. Storage is also a strong selling point for RAM as the Big Horn has class-exclusive in-floor storage compartments. Last but not least are the bold chrome outlines that provide a distinctive styling to the front and rear bumpers, grille, and door handles.

2020 Chevy Silverado LT Double Cab Features & Design

The Chevrolet LT Double Cab comes with some distinctive styling and a few exciting features. Standard are chrome bumpers, a center grille bar, and mirror caps that add body-colored door handles and 17-inch bright-silver aluminum wheels.
