The interior bezels are made of real carbon fiber, and other carbon fiber accents can be found throughout the interior. The instrument panel features a Black Ghost badge upon starting the vehicle.

Origin Story of the Dodge Challenger Black Ghost

The name Black Ghost dates back to 1970s Detroit on Woodward Avenue. In the '70s, an all-black 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T SE owned by Godfrey Qualls flexed its roaring 426 cubic-inch HEMI engine on Detroit's famed Woodward Avenue one night. After showing off its muscle, the Challenger disappeared into the darkness mysteriously. After not being seen again for months, locals began calling the Challenger the Black Ghost. The Black Ghost isn't just a legend on Woodward Avenue. In fact, it earned itself a spot on the National Historic Vehicle Register in 2020. To this day, the original Black Ghost remains in the Qualls family. This is why Dodge chose to make a 2023 Last Call special edition directly inspired by the original Black Ghost.
