At the heart of the Rubicon's capability is the Rock-Trac part-time 4x4 system, providing a 4:1 gear ratio when the transfer case is in 4-Low mode. This means that for every four turns of the transmission output shaft, the wheels will turn once, providing greater torque at lower speeds. The traditional Rubicon is equipped with 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac all-terrain tires for optimal performance across various terrain.
