Electric 2025 Ram 1500 REV Announced

As we mentioned above, Ram didn't set out to make a run-of-the-mill electric truck, they set out to make an electric truck to take over the class. In order to accomplish this, Ram gave the 1500 REV a 250-kilowatt (kW) electric drive module (EDM) on each axle to give it excellent performance in all weather conditions. A 168-kilowatt-hour battery pack powers the EDMs as standard equipment, providing a range of 350 miles. However, Ram is making a 229-kWh battery pack available to provide drivers with up to 500 miles of driving range. When using an 800-volt Level 3 EV charger, in just ten minutes, Ram 1500 REV owners can give their truck up to 110 miles of range. Ram has chosen 654 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque as their goal for power with the Ram 1500 REV. This would give the electric truck up to 14,000 pounds of towing capacity, 2,700 pounds of payload capacity, and a 0-60 time of just 4.4 seconds. Ram has also set out to lead the class in terms of ride performance and all-terrain handling with an advanced suspension system. The four-corner air suspension system uses adaptive damping and active leveling in conjunction with a multi-link independent rear suspension to provide world-class ride comfort and handling. Drivers can control the ride height settings by choosing between Normal, Aero, Enter/Exit, Off-Road 1, and Off-Road 2.

The 2025 Ram 1500 REV's interior design is unlike any other Ram truck. Using a seamless blend of advanced technology and premium materials, the cabin creates a modern, welcoming atmosphere. Most of the center stack is occupied by a 12-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreen. Meanwhile, an all-new 14.5-inch touchscreen is available. While the Ram 1500's staple trim levels, Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, and Limited, are all included in the REV's lineup, Ram added a new trim level named Tungsten. The Ram 1500 REV Tungsten takes the luxury of the Limited trim to the next level, coming standard with premium leather seating, a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen, Klimsch Reference Premier audio with 23 speakers, a 10.25-inch front passenger touchscreen with co-pilot controls, two wireless charging pads, and much more. The seating of the Tungsten trim is also very impressive, as they have five different memory setting profiles and are 24-way power-adjustable, heated, cooled, and massaging.

The exterior design takes inspiration from the current form of the Ram 1500 while modernizing it to boast its electrified future. From the front, the Ram 1500 REV boasts a heroic appearance with an upgraded grille, donning a modernized 'RAM' logo with LED illumination. On either side of the grille are redesigned headlight housings with 'tuning fork' LED daytime running lights. Since the Ram 1500 REV completely does away with an internal combustion engine, Ram gave the EV additional cargo storage with a front trunk, or frunk, as it's known in the EV community. The Ram 1500 REV's frunk features an impressive 15 cubic feet of cargo capacity, which leads the class. The door to the frunk, which resembles a hood, has a power release for easy access. The Ram 1500 REV includes the RamBox external storage compartment over the driver's side rear fender, which features a 115-volt power outlet. It can be used to store cargo, as a toolbox, and even as a cooler. It features drain plugs to release water if it is used as a cooler. Looking at the rear, you'll find a redesigned 'RAM' inscription between redesigned taillights.
