FCA offers COVID-19 Related Relief Actions

Brought to you by Marburger DCJR

The heath, safety, and well-being of others is incredibly important to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, otherwise known as FCA, which is why the company has implemented several campaigns to help those in the community around them. FCA will be donating meals to school-aged children, making and donating face masks, and using all of their brand's social media accounts to promote staying home when possible. Learn more about FCA's response to COVID-19 by continuing on down below.

FCA Brands on Social Media

Social media is a brilliant way to connect to customers and fans alike across the world, and FCA is using their social media to encourage people to stay home when they can and to honor all essential workers. When you search the hashtag #PacificaCampOut, you'll come across videos from Chrysler starring actress and comedian Kathryn Hahn. These short clips feature Kathryn creatively using a Pacifica to keep entertained. The #WorkFORHome hashtag used by Ram Trucks pays homage to farmers, first responders, utility workers, drivers, and other essential works. We all know Jeep drivers love to be outdoors and on the trails, which is why the Jeep brand is using slogans like the great outdoors isn't going anywhere, and you're never too old to build a fort to encourage its drivers to stay home.

Face Masks for First Responders

FCA is stepping up to the plate and helping first responders, nurses, and health care workers by producing and donating over one million face masks per month. The face masks will initially be distributed to health care workers and first responders in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The company will work with local authorities to determine which hospitals, fire stations, police departments, nursing homes, and other health care facilities need the masks most.

Helping Children Effected by School Closures

COVID-19 caused schools around the world to shift from in-person learning to online learning. This shift means children that depended on the meals they received at school are now facing even greater food insecurity, which is why FCA has partnered with a number of non-profit organizations including No Kid Hungry to help donate more than one million meals to school-aged children. The company will start distributing these meals to children who live around its main facilities in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, and Michigan. From there, the company will start donating meals to school-aged children across the rest of the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
