What is the Easter Safari?

The Easter Safari, hosted by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers club, is an annual multi-day event. The Safari was started by the Moab Chamber of Commerce in 1957. Over the years, as the concept has grown and expanded until today, where is a nine-day event.  Throughout the Easter Safari event, off-road vendors and manufacturers, such as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and Jeep Performance Parts (JPP), showcase new products and concept vehicles.

Can you tell me about the 2021 Gladiator Red Bare?

The inspiration behind the Red Bare concept comes from the ranks of passionate Jeep owners who enjoy creating customized looks to their Jeeps. In the case of the Gladiator Red Bare, however, it's Jeeps own design team who do the customizing. And, what a job the did!

What are the customization details?

Outside, the Gladiator Red Bare displays Fire Cracker Red paint with custom Matte Black graphics. Additionally, Mojave hood and cowl pieces and Black seven-slot grille complete the concept.

The interior incorporates custom Black leather seats with bold red stitching and custom red flannel inserts. The instrument panel has been wrapped in the same red flannel material giving the interior a woodsy motif.

And how about the drivetrain?

Powering the Gladiator Red Bare is Jeep's turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V-6 engine. The 275 horse engine connects to a TorqueFlite 8HP75 eight-speed automatic which is calibrated for low RPM shifts to easily maneuver off-road trails.

Additionally, the Red Bare is fully outfitted to rule off-road. It comes equipped with a JPP 2-inch lift kit, 17-inch Matte Black wheels with 37-inch tires, a cargo bed-mounted sport bar, JPP Sand Slider rock rails, and factory steel bumpers with a Warn winch.

What are JPP accessories?

Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) is a division of Jeep that offers off-roaders high-quality aftermarket accessories and performance parts. The JPP portfolio includes axles, lift kits, bumpers, winches, skid plates, suspension components, and more. What's important to note is that the products are created by the factory. This assures that the parts and accessories deliver proper fit and finish. You can see the full line of Jeep Performance Parts at mopar.com/jpp.
