By Marburger Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM

There is little doubt that the 2020 Jeep Wrangler is the most capable, comfortable, and diverse iteration ever to wear the Wrangler badge. When it comes to off-road capability, the Wrangler knows no equal, but on the paved roads, it's just as capable as the ride is smooth and offers incredible feedback from the steering and breaks. Inside the cabin, the Wrangler is filled with more luxury and tech features than ever before. Under the hood, the engine choices range from the tried-and-true V6 to the diesel-powered 3.0-liter. While the competition is fierce, nothing beats the open-air experience that the Wrangler provides. There are three primary trim levels and four sub-trims that are available for the Wrangler. Engine Options

Several engine options are available for the 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The standard on all trims is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that pumps out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The engine comes paired with a six-speed manual transmission with the option for an eight-speed automatic. Optional is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that comes with 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque that mates specifically with the eight-speed automatic. Both engines are available with the eTorque system on the Sahara models, which helps improve fuel economy. All-new this year is a 3.0-liter diesel engine that provides consumers with an astounding 440 lb-ft of torque.

The 2020 Wrangler opens things with the Sport trim, and it comes with 17-inch steel wheels, skid plates, and tow hooks. You also get foglights, removable full metal doors with crank windows, a fold-down windshield, manual mirrors and locks, cruise control, push-button start. Tech features for the Sport include a 5-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, Bluetooth, an eight-speaker sound system, and a USB port. Unlimited versions of the Sport get a bigger gas tank and air conditioning. One of the many sub-trims of the Sport is the Sport S, which adds alloy wheels, air conditioning, automatic headlights, remote locking and unlocking, heated power mirrors, power windows and locks, a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Unlimited only Altitude has 18-inch wheels, heavy-duty brakes and suspension, a hardtop, and a rear window defroster and washer. Three special editions are available for the Sport S, including the Black and Tan, which adds to the Sport S with all-terrain tires, side rails, a larger driver information display, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Willy's has more off-road equipment, including a limited-slip rear differential, heavy-duty brakes, rails and shocks lifted from the Rubicon trim, and 32-inch all-terrain tires. Finally, the Freedom package has military-themed graphics, a soft top, tinted windows, and all-terrain tires.

The midlevel trim of the Wrangler is the Sahara which has a four-door configuration, and combines the features of the Altitude and the Black and Tan models as well as painted exterior body panels and trim. Optional is a full-time four-wheel-drive system and a lockable center differential. The Altitude version of the Sahara adds a hardtop, rear window washer and defroster, plus leather upholstery and a leather-wrapped shifter.

With the Rubicon comes the most off-road capable of all the Wranglers. It comes with all of the Sahara's equipment plus 17-inch wheels, special tires, heavy-duty axles with shorter gearing,  electronic front and lockable rear differentials, an electronically disconnecting front stabilizer bar, rock rails, and upgraded cloth upholstery. Options for the Rubicon, as well as other higher trims, include remote start, keyless entry, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, an 8.4-inch display with navigation, and a nine-speaker Alpine sound system. All trims are also eligible for many different safety features, including a blind-spot monitor and front and rear parking sensors.
