Trim Levels of the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is the perfect family vehicle, with a spacious and comfortable interior and plenty of room for all your cargo. However, it also has the power and versatility to take your adventure off-road, with a wealth of rugged features that provide Jeep's signature Trail Rated Capability. For 2022, the Grand Cherokee has undergone a redesign, and the New Grand Cherokee encompasses three distinct models, the classic Grand Cherokee build, a 3-row configuration, and even a plug-in hybrid version called the Grand Cherokee 4xe. Continued down below, we'll be introducing the trim levels of the core Grand Cherokee lineup, and showcasing the features that each trim level has to offer. This includes the Laredo, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, and Summit trims, each of which has its own unique design. Read on to learn which trim level is right for you!
Laredo
The first trim level for the New Grand Cherokee is the Laredo. This model features the 3.6-liter V6 engine found in previous model years, which produces 293 horsepower, and 260 lb-ft of torque. The Laredo comes with LED exterior lighting, 17-inch wheels, and dual-zone automatic climate control. It also comes equipped with the new Uconnect 5 system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen. The New Grand Cherokee has an updated standard safety package that includes features like adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and active lane management. Other features include heated mirrors, roof rails, and a 6-speaker sound system.

Limited
On the Limited trim, you'll receive all of the Laredo's standard features including the safety package, but you'll also have many of the features of the Grand Cherokee's Lux Technology Package. This includes a power liftgate, a heated steering wheel, a remote start system, and more! The Limited also features LED fog lights, a leather-trimmed interior, and heated seats in the front and rear. The Limited comes with standard rear-wheel drive, but if you opt for available 4-wheel drive, you'll also receive the Selec-Terrain Traction Management system with five different drive modes.

Trailhawk
The Trailhawk trim really stands out in terms of its appearance, as well as its capability. This trim level is built for off-roading, and features the Jeep Trail Rated badge to prove it! The Trailhawk comes with standard 4-wheel drive, featuring the Quadra-Drive II 4X4 system with a two-speed transfer case for high and low-range gearing. It also features a class-exclusive disconnecting front sway bar which can enhance its articulation. The Trailhawk has a sporty appearance with a red and black hood decal, Trailhawk badge, and bright red front tow hooks. Speaking of towing, when properly equipped, the Trailhawk can tow up to 7,200 pounds! Other features include ventilated front seats, built-in navigation, and hill ascent and descent control.

Overland
The Overland trim preserves some of the Trailhawk's rugged features, but pairs them with some additional luxury features bringing you the best of both worlds. The Overland comes equipped with 20-inch aluminum wheels, and the Quadra-Lift Air Suspension System for a maximum ground clearance of 11.3 inches. If you opt for 4-wheel drive, the Overland will come with hill-descent control, and the 2-speed transfercase of the Quadra-Drive II system. It also features a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, ambient LED interior lighting, a premium 9-speaker Alpine audio system, and a hands-free liftgate.

Summit
Last but not least, the Summit rounds out the lineup for the new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee with an overall sleek and luxurious theme! This trim level goes above and beyond the standard safety package, adding advanced features like drowsy driver detection, parallel/perpendicular parking assist, traffic sign recognition, and a 360-degree camera. The Summit also features upgraded leather interior, a wood-trimmed steering wheel, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, and four-zone automatic climate control. It also features massaging front seats, and memory features for the front passenger. If you opt for the available Summit Reserve package, you'll also have access to the new front-passenger display, which adds a second touchscreen for the passenger's side of the dashboard.
